After having to forgo our other events this year due to the pandemic, it seems fitting to restart with the Fall Cleanup since it was the first event we hosted when FORFP was formed over two decades ago. Over the years, volunteers have cleared underbrush, planted bulbs, spread wood chips, raked leaves, pruned trees, de-littered, addressed the effects of erosion, and swept the playground’s walkways during our Cleanups. This year we will be concentrating on raking, sweeping, and de-littering.

Due to the pandemic, the Town has set some rules for this event:
 ● Participants must wear masks at all times and practice social distancing.
 ● Everyone must use hand sanitizer before and after volunteering. We will have plenty on hand.
● Any shared tools must be sanitized between users.
Each participant must sign-in for the event.

We hope you will join us on the 7th. There won’t be any munchkins this year, but we will provide bottled water and a FORFP mug for anyone who volunteers for at least one hour. NOTE: AHS students can receive community service hours for this work.

Best wishes,

Jen Firneno, Events Chair, Friends of Robbins Farm Park
